Yoga im Glamping-Zelt – Ihr eigenes Studio im Garten

Yoga in the glamping tent – your own studio in the garden

Imagine rolling out your yoga mat early in the morning in a quiet, shaded tent. Birds are singing outside. The light filters softly through the cotton fabric. No notifications, no noise – just you, your breath, and movement.

That is possible. And it doesn’t have to be any farther away than your own garden.

Why a glamping tent is perfect for yoga

Yoga is all about presence. And hardly anything creates presence as effectively as nature – the ground beneath your feet, the air around you, and the feeling of having left everyday hustle and bustle behind.

A cotton glamping tent creates exactly that kind of environment. The cotton material naturally regulates the temperature, so it never gets too warm or too cold. It also muffles ambient noise and creates a soft, diffused light that makes it easy to focus inward.

Unlike a regular tent, a glamping tent offers enough standing height to move freely – a prerequisite for most yoga poses.

What tent size is suitable for yoga?

That depends on whether you practice alone or in a group.

Solo or as a pair: Our Medium tent (4 meters in diameter) comfortably accommodates one or two mats with plenty of room to spare. Perfect for your personal morning routine.

Small group: Large (5 meters) or XL (6 meters) comfortably fit three to four mats. Ideal if you would like to invite friends to a private yoga session in the garden.

Yoga retreat or studio: If you would like to use the tent professionally – for example for retreats, classes, or events – the Emperor or XXL is an impressive choice. These tents create an authentic, natural studio experience that no indoor space can match.

How to create the right atmosphere

A big part of the yoga experience has to do with the mood. Here are some simple tips to turn your glamping tent into a true yoga oasis:

  • The floor: Lay out one of our jute rugs as a base. They are natural, breathable, and look beautiful. Then roll out your yoga mat on top.
  • The light: A lantern with warm light creates a meditative atmosphere, especially during early morning sessions or twilight yoga.
  • The air: Leave the tent entrance open if the weather allows. Fresh air and the sounds of nature enrich the experience.
  • Simplicity: Keep the setup minimal. A tent for yoga needs no more than a mat, a light, and perhaps one or two plants.

Yoga outdoors – all year round?

With the right tent, the yoga season can last longer than you might think. The cotton material retains warmth longer in autumn and handles moisture in a way that allows you to use the tent even on cooler mornings.

If you would like to extend the season even further, you can add a small wood stove – perfect for yoga sessions on September mornings when the air gets cooler.

Not just for you – invite others

A glamping tent in the garden also opens up possibilities you may not have thought of yet. A yoga session with close friends on a summer evening. A quiet moment of meditation on a Saturday morning. Or why not a yoga brunch – session first, then breakfast outside in the sun afterward?

The tent creates a natural separation from the rest of the garden and everyday life – and it is exactly this separation that makes it easier to actually make time for your own practice.
